GENERAL PURPOSE
The Packaging Associate is responsible for repackaging items from bulk form packaging into customer specific packaging. Responsibilities Essential functions of the job are listed below. Other responsibilities may also be assigned. Please note that the essential functions may vary depending on department size, organizational structure and/or geographic location. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essent ial functions of the job Essential Job Functions Repackages items from bulk to customer specific packaging, including poly bag, specific labels, inner outer boxes etc. Operates any necessary machines for repackaging - Spring-Poly Bag Machine Makes necessary, minor, adjustments to repackaging machines Other Responsibilities Operates Hi-Lo to move product, as necessary Preforms quality checks of packaged products Verifies raw materials match work instructions Assists team with all other aspects of receiving, pulling & labeling, as needed Performs other duties as requested by supervisor Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location. Knowledge/ Experience Microsoft Office skills Familiarity with
MRP/ ERP
systems. i.e.
SAP, AX 2009
SPC and ISO/TS understanding Power Lockout Certification Demonstrated ability to effectively use scale Hi-Lo Drivers Certificate Demonstrated commitment to meet all safety requirements Attention to detail Ability to operate Spring-Poly Bag Machine Fine motor skills & dexterity Numerical and counting capabilities High School Diploma is preferred 1+ years of related experience Skills/ Abilities Pertinent to This Position Problem-solving Planning & organizing Verbal communication Written communication Quality/ detail orientation Relationship management Customer service/ satisfaction Process improvement Ability to interact at all levels Ability to work as a team member Flexibility/ adaptability/ multi-tasking Independent judgement/ discretion
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Personal protective equipment (vision and hearing) used in plant. Exposed to heat, humidity conditions during warm weather months.
