Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packer/Shipper to join our E-Commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by cleaning, skinning, and packing the order including all relevant accessories . The candidate will ensure accurate packaging, and maintaining efficient shipping operations. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to support timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities Clean laptops/desktops/ accessories and other IT equipment - this includes de-stickering, de gumming and removing previous signs of usage on every item. Choose and build box to ship order in a cost effective and safe manner Carefully pack products according to company standards and customer specifications Label packages accurately with shipping information Inspect items for quality and completeness before packing Update company inventory as items are packed and shipped Load packages into staging area for carrier pickup Maintain a clean and organized packing and shipping area Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment Skills Strong attention to detail and order accuracy in packing and labeling. This is includes the ability to understand what accessories are needed to be included in the laptop/desktop or parts order Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such a foaming machines, bubble machines, tape machines, and pallet jacks Must be able to lift items that are up to 50lbs on a regular basis Must be able to retrieve boxes that are stored on shelfs/racks using a ladder ( with another team member ) Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize orders and tasks effectively Exceptional communication skills with team members Basic computer skills such as typing, google sheets and windows are required Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role
