Job Description :
A Production Line worker in the personal care industry safely operates machinery to fill, cap, label, and package products like lotions, makeup, or shampoo while maintaining strict cleanliness and quality standards. Key duties involve monitoring automated equipment, performing in-process quality checks (e.g., fill weights), and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Key Responsibilities:
Production Operations:
Operate packaging equipment (pumps, cappers, labelers) to turn bulk products into finished goods.
Quality Control:
Inspect components (bottles, caps) before filling, check for correct coding, and verify final product quality.
Machine Troubleshooting:
Clear jams, adjust equipment, and notify technicians of major mechanical issues.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA) and hygiene standards, including wearing PPE (hairnets, gloves, lab coats) in a clean environment.
Documentation:
Record production data, including batch numbers, fill weights, and material usage.
Assembly & Packing:
Manually pack, seal, and palletize finished products.
Requirements:
Experience:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience, ideally in cosmetics or food.
Skills:
High attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Pay:
$17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
