Job Description

Job Title:
Order Picker Job Description This role supports the production floor and engineering team by accurately picking small parts and delivering them to the appropriate production lines. You will handle materials using carts and pallet jacks, work with computerized pick lists, and help maintain inventory accuracy to ensure production needs are met on time. Responsibilities Pull small part products from inventory and deliver them to designated production lines in a timely manner. Utilize hand carts, bins, and automatic or manual pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently. Use a computer system to identify, access, and print pick lists for daily orders. Verify part numbers, quantities, storage locations, and work orders to ensure accuracy for every pick. Walk up and down stairs regularly to retrieve parts from different areas and use an elevator to transport carts of products to the first floor. Support inventory accuracy by checking counts and locations and reporting discrepancies as needed. Assist with packing and order picking tasks to support overall material flow. Use RF scanners and related equipment to track and confirm inventory movements. Demonstrate reliability and lead by example in meeting production material needs on time. Essential Skills At least 1 year of order selection or kitting experience. Experience with order picking in a warehouse or similar environment. Proven ability to verify part numbers, quantities, and locations with a high level of accuracy. Experience with verification of inventory accuracy. Hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory or order picking. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks (manual and/or automatic). Previous warehouse experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records. Ability to walk stairs frequently and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in roles similar to curbside pickup or order fulfillment. Familiarity with inventory processes and material flow in a production environment. Comfort using computers to access and print pick lists and work orders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production support setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
