Starting at $20.00/hour DOE We are seeking a dependable Crating Clerk to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for building crates, packaging finished products for shipment, and ensuring materials are protected for safe transport to customers. Key Responsibilities Communicate with the Crating Foreman regarding daily priorities, production schedules, and shipping deadlines. Construct shipping crates using tools such as miter saws, drills, impact drivers, staplers, and other shop equipment. Package finished products to ensure damage-free transportation and delivery. Complete packing slips and shipping documentation accurately. Maintain quality standards throughout the crating and packaging process. Adapt to changing priorities and workload demands in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Flexible and adaptable in a changing production environment. Experience operating a miter saw, drill, cordless impact driver, and other common shop tools. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
