30 AM start time Work continues until the assigned work is completed — there is no set end time Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance Position Summary Responsible for safely selecting, moving, and transporting products throughout the warehouse while meeting established productivity and safety standards. Essential Duties Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move product. Select and retrieve products from warehouse racks and storage areas. Work in refrigerated and freezer areas, with temperatures ranging from approximately -15°F to the upper 40s . Lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 100 pounds . Handle packaged food products, including fish, pork, and nuts . Use a voice-directed selection (Vocollect) system. Follow written and verbal instructions and meet required production standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Work cooperatively with team members to support AWG's customers and member retailers. Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Previous experience operating warehouse equipment preferred. Must be safety-minded, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision. Must be able to read and understand instructions in English. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment and perform the physical requirements of the position. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding warehouse position. Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, climb, and work at various heights. The position requires the ability to regularly handle product and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds . Employees must be able to safely handle packaged food products, including fish, pork, and nuts , as part of their regular job duties. Work Environment Work is performed primarily indoors in a warehouse environment with moderate noise and varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer areas. Employees may also be required to work outdoors as needed.
