Job Description

Job Summary:
The table packager has responsibility for supporting production by ensuring accurate and timely packaging of completed jobs. The role supports stewardship of company resources by maintaining accurate product identification and quantities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Timely and accurate completion of packaging related tasks in the assembly area. Creating pull from assembly to enable efficiency and throughput. Participate in process improvement efforts to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy of packaging related activities Retrieval of packaging materials (corrugate, foam, etc.) for point of use by packaging team Maintain packaging area in a clean and orderly fashion and perform weekly review of area with team leader to ensure proper 5S organization and identification of safety hazards Flex to meet business needs and perform other assigned duties as directed by team leader or department manager
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to complete packaging duties and associated Pivot transactions Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly. Ability to complete required paperwork accurately.
Time Management Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
