Job Description

Furniture Packer/Boxer Monday to
Friday:
7am to 3:30pm Must have the ability to: Pack furniture into corrugated boxes. This candidate must make the box up from a flat stack with clinching tool or tape; place the furniture into the box; place protective bags in the box and around the furniture to protect it; close and secure the box; place box on conveyor; strap the box securely by moving the box on the conveyor through a strapping machine; affix a label on the box. Candidate must also load the truck. There is some heavy lifting at this position. Candidate needs to be able to lift at least 50 lbs to perform the job. Packers here are expected to pack/box approximately 60 pieces a day on average. This is a high pace production oriented job. Boxer is on their feet moving and lifting all day. Good attendance is mandatory. Starting pay is $16.50
