Production & Packaging Associate Dehydrated Chicken Dog Treat Startup We're a dehydrated chicken strip startup for dog treats. We are looking to focus on our wholesale expansion across north carolina. Other team members will generate sales and our production associate will dehydrate the chicken to get our treats onto the shelves across the state. The production associate will have the flexibility to choose their own production schedule as long as product is ready for delivery. let's work together to scale Carolina Deli! What you'll do: Production Process and dehydrate about 90 lbs of chicken per week Lay out pre-sliced chicken from bags onto trays (~54 trays per cycle) Transfer loaded raw chicken trays to the oven Transfer cooked trays to dehydrators for drying Transfer fully dehydrated chicken back to oven for a final heat treatment Move finished product from oven into storage containers Clean and sanitize production space between stages Packaging Cut product labels to size Apply adhesive tape to labels and affix to mylar bags Insert an oxygen absorber into each bag Fill bags with product and weigh to exact target weight Heat seal each finished bag
