Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corrugator Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing rolls for splices and order changeovers. The role requires accurate completion of order records, effective communication with team members and performing other assigned tasks to support production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining corrugator machinery to produce high-quality cardboard packaging products. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality standards are consistently met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, mechanical troubleshooting, and industrial equipment operation to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Work as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping duty as detailed in equipment specifications Contribute to the continued operation of the corrugator and achieving daily production goals Operate corrugator stacker and strapper in a safe and competent manner Follow all company safety rules and lock - out procedures Maintain a high level of quality and productivity, count accuracy of material and unit appearance Check length, width and scoring measurements at every order change Continuously check quality of board (warp, bond, liner dents, scratches, etch) Help tag stacks and push sheets for storage when time allows Make caliper checks from operator, middle and drives sides, and length check from top and bottom Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Requirements High School Diploma 1-2 Years of experience in a corrugated related role Knowledge of corrugator machinery Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with varying degrees of temperature based on seasons, around machinery and heavy forklift traffic Must have an excellent attendance record Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening Strong communication and problem solving skills, including the ability to interact with other levels of management and staff Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines and requests Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately
Apply Today Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
