Full-time Overview A Packer, is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping containers and preparing them for shipment. Their duties include but does not limit to following SOPs, following quality standards, ESD handling procedures, and safety requirements and packing items safely and securely in the right packaging box. Duties and Responsibilities
- Labeling, scanning, inspecting product appropriately and ensure they are not damaged
- Accurately label, scan, and prepare electronic products for shipment.
- Visually inspect products and electronic assemblies to ensure there is no damage or quality defect.
- Review and inspect shipping containers and packaging materials to ensure they meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including delivery notes, invoices, and internal shipping documentation.
- Complete packing and shipment forms with correct and up-to-date shipping information
- Follow all company SOPs, quality standards, ESD handling procedures, and safety requirements.
- Ensure shipping labels are entered and matched correctly within internal systems and external carrier systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area including cleaning reusable containers and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience/Knowledge Requirements:
- Prior experience in packing, shipping, warehouse, or electronics manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to follow written instructions, standard operating procedures, and documentation guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer, scanning, and labeling software skills.
- Ability to stand, lift, and move materials as required (in accordance with safety standards).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience packing.
