Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment to ensure timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual handling skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience operating various types of heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning and warehouse management systems Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and effectively Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and updates in inventory management systems Ensure proper packaging of items to prevent damage during transit, including materials handling and manual handling techniques Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders Support inventory management activities by organizing stock in designated warehouse areas Follow safety procedures consistently to promote a secure working environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve order fulfillment efficiency Experience Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse operations Hands-on experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for barcode tracking Experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements Prior experience with materials handling equipment operation and manual handling techniques Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety standards Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment processes Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to efficient logistics operations within a fast-paced warehouse setting.
