Job Description
Picker / Packer - $16/Hour About the Role We are hiring Picker/Packer/Sorters. This is a hands-on position involving picking, packing, sorting, palletizing, loading and unloading products, and moving materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Hand-stack individual cases and move products from one pallet to another Pick, sort, stage, and organize customer products Load and unload products and materials Move and stack products by hand or using material-handling equipment Check inbound and outbound products for accuracy, quantity, and damage Complete paperwork and accurately enter information using RF scanners/computer units Inspect pallets and assist with basic pallet repair processes Stage products and materials for shipment Perform daily equipment inspections Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all warehouse safety procedures and work instructions Meet productivity and accuracy expectations Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Previous warehouse, picking, packing, sorting, or material-handling experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks Basic computer/RF scanner skills preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read, count, and verify product information Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn warehouse processes and equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and kneel Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials Ability to hand-stack cases and move products between pallets Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift IND2
