JOB PURPOSE

The DPS Operator/Printer, Cutter, Packer role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of print production, from operating advanced printers and cutters to conducting rigorous quality control checks against customer specifications. The ideal candidate bridges technical skill with a collaborative mindset—actively performing preventative equipment maintenance, identifying workflow improvements to ensure on-time delivery, and partnering with cross-functional departments. Duties and responsibilities DPS Operator/Printer, Cutter, Packer (1st Shift)

Production:

Operating printers and cutters to meet customer specifications; performing daily preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and print quality.

Quality Control:

Comparing printed products against customer-approved artwork; performing random roll checks and identifying quality concerns for immediate resolution with the DPS Supervisor.

Operational Efficiency:

Managing resources to ensure on-time delivery; identifying and suggesting workflow improvements.

Collaboration:

Maintaining a positive, respectful attitude while working closely with Logistics, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED Experience:

No experience required. Production/manufacturing experience is a plus. Working conditions/travel This is an in-factory position based at our High Point facility. Requires daily attendance and (the ability to lift up to 50lbs.). Travel is not currently required for this position. Hours This is a 1st Shift hourly Full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, flexibility is required, as overtime and weekend work may be necessary to meet production demands and business needs.
