Shift Packer Schedule:
Monday-Thursday Hours:
8:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour Job Description The Packer will work on a production line assembling, inspecting, and packaging flexible hose products. This is a fast-paced position that requires good attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions. Job Duties Inspect hoses for damage or quality issues. Measure products when required. Perform light assembly of hoses and related parts. Pack finished products into the correct bags or boxes. Coil hoses and place them into the proper packaging. Assemble cartons and other packing materials. Apply the correct labels to boxes. Complete a final inspection before packing the product. Seal and stack finished boxes onto pallets. Work on different production lines as needed, but not more than one line at a time. Keep the production line stocked with needed supplies. Move materials and finished products as required. Remove scrap and keep the work area clean. Complete required production paperwork. Follow all company safety rules, policies, and ISO procedures. Report safety or quality concerns to management. Perform other production duties as assigned. Requirements Good attention to detail. Ability to follow written work instructions. Ability to keep up with a fast-paced production line. Comfortable performing repetitive assembly and packing work. Ability to stand for most of the shift. Dependable attendance and ability to work the full overnight schedule.
