Packer / Warehouse Floater
Location:
Bridgeton, NJ 08302
Schedule:
first shift 7 am - 3 pm (M-F)
Pay Rate:
$18.00/hr. on W2
Summary:
Our client, a regional supplier of hot melt and water-based adhesives in Southern New Jersey, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Packer / Warehouse Floater. This role goes beyond traditional packing: this individual will support multiple areas of the operation, including packaging, forklift operation, facility upkeep, and general warehouse tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute across different functions to keep production running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Packaging & Production Pack, weigh, and label finished products for shipment Monitor product quality and identify defects or inconsistencies Adjust and control machine settings as needed (e.g., speed) Follow all company packaging procedures and safety guidelines Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly Warehouse & Floater Duties Operate a forklift (when needed; certification preferred or willing to train) Provide coverage in different departments as needed Assist with moving materials and staging products Perform basic facility maintenance tasks ONE year forklift operation experience Grounds & General Labor Maintain cleanliness of work areas (indoor & outdoor) Pick up trash and debris around the facility Assist with basic landscaping tasks (e.g., cutting grass) Support any additional operational needs as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently Ability to stand, walk, push, and perform repetitive motions for an entire shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and varying temperatures (hot/cold) Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or stay late to complete production batches Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience Forklift experience or willingness to be trained Strong teamwork and communication skills Basic understanding of production processes Work Environment Industrial/manufacturing setting Exposure to heat, cold, and production equipment Requires adherence to all safety protocols and use of PPE #TB_EN #ZRHC Why TalentBurst?
