4:30 PM - 10:00 PM / 1:00 AM (depending on workload) Monday to Friday Fridays are mandatory Weekend work is rare Must be flexible to stay until all orders are completed Job Summary We are seeking reliable and hardworking Picker & Packers to join a growing produce distribution warehouse. This role involves accurately picking orders, packing products, palletizing shipments, operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ), and ensuring produce quality standards are maintained. This is a fast-paced, cold storage warehouse environment with excellent opportunities for growth and advancement. Responsibilities Follow paper pick tickets to accurately select customer orders. Pick, pack, and palletize products for shipment. Build stable and organized pallets. Inspect produce for quality and identify damaged products. Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider) safely and efficiently. Perform order selecting and shipping activities to meet productivity goals. Assist with receiving, unloading, staging, and shipping operations. Utilize RF scanners and inventory tools to track product movement. Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sanitation and housekeeping duties. Work closely with team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Adapt to changing processes in a growing warehouse environment. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience. Previous warehouse order picking experience. Experience in shipping and receiving operations. Ability to lift 50-60 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionally . Experience with palletizing and shipping processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a food, produce, or cold storage warehouse . Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems. Forklift experience is a plus. Familiarity with quality inspection procedures. Ability to perform multiple warehouse functions as needed. Work Environment Cold storage temperatures ranging from 33°F to 55°F . Produce and fruit distribution warehouse. Fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Start-up operation with opportunities to help shape processes and procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
