Case Picker / PIT Machine Operator $20 an hour Warehouse Environment Competitive Pay + Overtime Available Contract-to-Hire Opportunity We're seeking candidates with recent experience operating Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, and Ride-On Pallet Jacks. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with opportunities for immediate placement and long-term growth. Responsibilities Operate Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, and Ride-On Pallet Jacks safely and efficiently Pick, stage, and move product throughout the warehouse Use RF scanners to process inventory and orders Follow warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards Complete daily assignments accurately and on time Participate in a hands-on PIT equipment evaluation Work in dry, chill, and freezer environments as needed Requirements Minimum 3 months of PIT experience within the last 12 months Experience operating Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, or Ride-On Pallet Jacks Ability to discuss previous warehouse experience, equipment operated, and dates of operation Experience using RF scanners preferred Must pass E-Verify requirements Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment Preferred Experience Reach Truck Cherry Picker Electric Pallet Jack Work Environment Freezer Environment (-10°F) Apply today for immediate consideration! Work Environment This position is based in warehouse settings that include dry storage areas, chill environments typically ranging from 32-45°F, and freezer areas around -10°F. Operators must be fully willing and able to work in all temperature zones as needed. The work environment is a busy, high-volume distribution facility where powered industrial trucks such as order pickers, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, ride-on pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks are used regularly. RF scanners and related warehouse technology support order picking and inventory tasks. Schedules vary by department and by the specific machines operated, so flexibility is important. The setting emphasizes safety, productivity, and professional conduct at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
