Duties Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and manual methods, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected. Pack products securely, utilizing appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Manage inventory levels by organizing stock in designated areas and conducting regular stock counts. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and documentation. Operate material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency. Follow safety procedures diligently during all aspects of order picking, packing, and equipment operation. Support warehouse supervisors in implementing process improvements for productivity enhancement. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling. Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks safely. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanner technology. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Familiarity with warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving, load & unload procedures. Experience with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safely. Understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse environment and heavy equipment operation. Good organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
