Inspector Packer Job Description The Inspector Packer is responsible for visually inspecting manufactured parts coming off the production line for defects, assembling parts as needed, and packaging quality products according to policy, procedures, and

standards. Responsibilities Visually inspect manufactured parts for defects. Assemble parts as needed. Package quality products following policies, procedures, and

ISO 9001

standards. Maintain effective problem-solving skills. Generate reports using intermediate computer skills. Operate weigh scales and other necessary equipment. Ensure good attendance and demonstrate teamwork and communication skills. Lift and carry a minimum of 15 to 20 lbs and stand for 12-hour shifts. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good mechanical aptitude. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Experience with weigh scales. Intermediate computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in injection or blow molding is a plus. Potential for growth within the company. Experience with forklift, inventory, RF scanner, and loading. Work Environment The work environment involves light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently. You will work inside, protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The job may expose you to noise levels that require raised voices for communication, as well as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and other hazards. There is exposure to oils and cutting fluids. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neptune, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.35/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
