Injection Molding, Assembly/Packing Operator Admiral Cable has been a leading provider of extension cords, work lights, and cable assemblies for over 30 years. Job Overview Our plant in New Mexico is state-of-the-art and preparing for major expansion. We are seeking highly organized and versatile team members for the critical role of Injection Molding, Assembly and Packaging Operator . This is a triple-responsibility role that includes operating injection molding equipment, performing product testing, and completing final packaging — ensuring every product meets company standards prior to shipment. Duties Injection Molding Operation Operates and monitors injection molding machinery. Loads raw materials into machines and verifies material specifications. Performs machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain proper molding conditions. Inspects molded parts for visual defects and dimensional conformance before moving to testing. Product Testing Performs product testing and quality verification procedures. Confirms all specifications, standards, and safety requirements are met. Records and documents testing results per company procedures. Packaging & Shipment Preparation Packs products at tables/workstations following order and shipping standards. Prepares and organizes baskets/containers for transport. Labels, weighs, and secures packaging to prevent damage during transit. Completes shipping documentation and packing lists. Maintains clean work areas and follows all safety procedures. Additional Responsibilities Identifies and removes defective components or products. Communicates issues to supervisors or quality department. Supports team coordination to meet daily production goals. May assist with material staging and inventory replenishment. This integrated job responsibility helps streamline manufacturing and shipping operations by combining core duties of packing (both at table and for baskets), quality testing, and preparing products for delivery. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a factory environment with exposure to noise and moving machinery.
