20/per hour Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. The ideal candidate will possess strong materials handling skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our warehouse distribution operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently pick items using order picker equipment and RF scanners to fulfill customer orders accurately Pack products securely, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against purchase orders Conduct quality control checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves and organizing materials Operate heavy equipment safely following all safety protocols and training guidelines Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve order fulfillment efficiency Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment
Qualifications:
Prior experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or materials handling Proficiency with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and order picker equipment Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment operation Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous experience with warehouse supervisor responsibilities or leadership roles is a plus If you are committed to precision, safety, and efficiency within a vibrant warehouse setting, we encourage you to apply today.
