Sportsfield Specialties is seeking an experienced Shipping worker for its Delhi, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations. Fill customer orders with accuracy and in a timely manner. Stage daily orders by shipping category/location. Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store products. Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize damage. Ensure that inventory and shipments are secure and well-organized. Ability to trouble shoot and think outside the box when shipping issues occur. Must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months. Perform other related duties as assigned.

High attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated. Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to communicate effectively with assigned team member(s) and customers. Ability to use and operate power tools and warehouse equipment safely.

Experience/Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Shipping experience preferred but not required. The starting pay indicated represents the minimum pay for the position. The starting pay may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, and internal equity. The posted starting pay reflects just one component of our total benefit/rewards package.
