Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the sampling associate is responsible for the sampling of all incoming ingredients/bulks into the warehouse. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of products sampled.
Responsibilities:
Perform major clean on room and equipment Takes samples from raw materials and bulks received following SOP's and GMP practices. Maintain the sampling room in clean working condition to maintain product integrity. Gather samples based on the established sampling method. Prepares samples for submission to the laboratory Keep sampling records Reseals opened ingredients/bulks to keep material integrity Organizes and maintains materials and other components that are needed for sampling in staging area Ability to document and maintain accurate records in logbooks Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team Personal responsibilities for following safety rules, SOPs, and cGMPs Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training Must be able to lift 40LBS Ability to write simple correspondence in English Basic math skills required Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. withing warehouse environment Attention to details and a good sense of organization.
