Picker / Packer Moda Operandi - 4.0 Maspeth, NY Job Details Full-time $17.00 - $19.50 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Received goods storage Heavy lifting Packing Labeling Sales order data entry Order preparation NetSuite Warehouse management system Employee relationship building Order shipping Manual packaging Shelf stocking Returns processing in distribution operations Order fulfillment receiving Quality control Shipping and receiving inventory management Warehouse experience Logistics order management Materials handling Cross-functional collaboration Communication skills Entry level Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Moda Operandi is seeking a process-oriented Receiver, Picker / Packer to assist with day-to-day warehousing functions: handling inbound shipments, vendor returns, transfer orders, Order fulfillment and rework merchandise. This is an onsite role with 5 days a week in our Distribution Center in Maspeth.
NY Primary Responsibilities:
Receiving involves qc'ing new inventory shipments from vendors. Labeling items, tagging products with return tags and putting them away into their respective/ designating racks/ shelves. Picking involves obtaining items from distribution center shelves according to orders placed by customers Packing involves packaging those items in boxes for shipment to customers Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code/SKU. Using internal inventory software to update orders, enter errors and close orders.
Qualifications/Ideal Experience:
Bending, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, twisting, grasping, pushing and pulling required Stand for the duration of the 8-hour shift, with the exception of lunch break is required Some heavy lifting - up to 20 lbs. Boxes and packages range in size depending on the combination of products ordered by the customer Warehouse operations/supply chain experience a plus Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as NetSuite a plus Ability to work flexible hours and accommodate schedule changes as necessary Must be able to multitask, prioritize, anticipate needs and take direction Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Team player and ability to work with cross-functional teams Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy Professional and friendly demeanor Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems and demonstrates understanding to find a solution Excellent communication skills and ability to develop working relationships Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)

Full-time; Onsite role at DC in Maspeth, NY. Shifts are 8:00am - 4:30pm
