Job Description

IML Containers / Groupe Lacroix is a dynamic and growing leader in food packaging, recognized for its innovation, quality standards, and advanced manufacturing environment. The Line Packer is responsible for inspecting finished products(plastic food containers), packing them according to requirements, and maintaining adequate packaging supplies at the machine. This role supports product quality, traceability, and
FSSC 22000
food safety requirements by ensuring products are handled correctly, records are completed accurately, and the work area is maintained in a clean, safe, and hygienic condition. Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications; Pack finished plastic food containers according to work instructions and customer requirements; Ensure proper identification, handling, and packaging of products to prevent mix-ups or contamination; Maintain adequate packaging materials and supplies at the machine to support continuous production; Complete production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner; Communicate quality concerns, product defects, equipment issues, or abnormal operating conditions to the Team Leader and/or Technician; Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company housekeeping and hygiene standards; Follow all food safety, quality, and safety procedures, including contamination-prevention practices; Report any non-conforming product, food safety hazard, or process deviation to the appropriate personnel; Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Previous manufacturing, production, or packaging experience preferred; Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards; Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures; Team-oriented with the ability to work independently; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift; Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, squatting, and repetitive movements; Good manual dexterity and physical stamina required.
