This hands-on role helps ensure each order is accurate, properly packed, and meets quality standards.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Inspect products for quality, correct patterns, and required random assortment.
Count and group matching product sets, checking labels and tags for accuracy. Fold and assemble boxes, insert required literature, and pack products using established procedures. Complete scanning and quality-control checks throughout the packing process. Follow written and verbal work instructions. Use tools, equipment, and materials properly and report equipment issues, defective materials, or unusual conditions to a supervisor. Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting, counting, labeling, and packing products. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established packing procedures. Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently. Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Physical Demands
- Lift and move boxes weighing 2-30 pounds, with an average weight of approximately 12 pounds.
Lift boxes from the production line to mid-chest or shoulder height. Perform approximately 80 lifts of a 12-pound box during a typical eight-hour shift. Use both hands for repetitive grasping, handling, assembling, scanning, and packing, with approximately 4,800 grasping motions during a typical eight-hour shift. Rotate among box assembly, scanning and quality checks, packing, and lifting tasks.
