Our goal is to offer products that are quality, interesting, safe and effective, that are dosed as consistently as possible, and that deliver a broad variety of options for accessing cannabis as medicine. Job Overview The Packaging Assistant is responsible for the preparation and packaging of cannabis products, specifically gummies and chocolates. They should be detail-oriented, capable of following strict guidelines, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a regulated environment. The Packaging Assistant must be knowledgable of and comply with the Division of Cannabis Control.
Schedule Part time position:
30 hours per week Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 6:00pm Position Responsibilities Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain equipment used in production process. Measure, package, and label products as directed. Perform quality checks to ensure accurate filling, labeling, and packaging of products. Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Follow recipes, batch records, and standard operating procedures to ensure product consistency and quality. Complete all required production, quality, and sanitation logs accurately and on a daily basis. Wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment, utensils, and dishes using the three-compartment sink method in accordance with established sanitation procedures. Work closely with the extraction and packaging teams to meet production goals and timelines. Assist with inventory control. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages. Comply with state track and trace compliance requirements. Assist with deliveries as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging, handling, and marketing. Position Requirements Must be able to follow protocols and procedures, must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, food manufacturing, or other production environment is preferred. Must be comfortable with and supportive of the Division of Cannabis Control. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass FBI/BCI background check. Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
