Packaging Staff - 1st shift and 2nd shift 1st
Shift Hours:
6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday 2nd
Shift Hours:
3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday through Friday Job description Summary/Objective As Packaging Staff, you'll help ensure finished product is ready for shipment by placing items into containers, weighing, sealing, labeling, and staging for transport. You'll follow packaging guidelines, use approved materials and tools, and keep accurate records of materials moving through inventory. You'll work Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm or Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Most days start with a quick check-in on the day's priorities and any updates to packaging standards. The rest of the shift is steady, hands-on work with a consistent rhythm-staying organized at your station, coordinating with nearby team members, and keeping an eye on accuracy as tasks move from one step to the next. You'll pause as needed to document counts, reset your area, and keep things orderly so the next batch moves smoothly. Then you'll help wrap up open items and leave your workspace ready for the next day. Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging Identify and dispose of defective items Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools and machinery Keep complete records of all materials that go through the inventory Strong communication skills and desire to work positively with other team members Assists in the upkeep and maintenance of a clean and sterile environment May be assigned other job duties if necessary Competencies Versatile and adaptable Attention to detail Positive Attitude Ability to handle stress Required Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry.
