Artisan Cannabis Extraction/ Packager Associate

Cannabis-Infused Product Lab Technician - Hash Washer The packaging technician is a direct report to the Production Lead and Operations Supervisor, who report to the Director of Operations. The primary role for this position will be to assist the Packaging and Extractions Departments at Dialed In Gummies. This includes but is not limited to all packaging duties and/or extraction duties, if needed. Your job is to assist the package department in the manufacturing of finished goods and assist in the extraction processes, requiring strict adherence to all safety and compliance procedures, including state and local laws and safety standards. They will be responsible for the safe day to day operation of packaging and extraction equipment with a focus on following procedures and continually improving the overall efficiency of the processes. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of this Hybrid role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and a no ego attitude.

Packaging Technician Hybrid Extraction Department Essential Duties and Tasks:

Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and company guidelines. This includes the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment. Set up, prepare, and maintain all lab and packaging equipment/machinery Strictly adhere to processing SOP's to ensure proper operations & clean outs between lots/batches Ensure the successful operation of all equipment by: Following operation SOP's, troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, and reporting damaged equipment to direct superior Daily operational and safety checks within the hash washing room and the packaging line Work as part of a team to meet production schedules Ability to Jar and weigh extracted hash and rosin Package pressing bags with dry hash Package gummies into tins or jars Run packaging equipment to label finished goods Assist in collecting rosin Cleanout of the extraction equipment, packaging equipment, and cleanup of other production wares and utensils. Waste destruction of spent biomass and/or production waste. Record data manually and digitally to communicate batch data with direct superior and other departments Good communication skills, verbal and written, with co-workers and management Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the facility with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized work area at the end of the assigned shift Contribute toward a desirable workplace culture Flexibility and ability to shift work schedule according to production needs Comply with all MED, and METRC requirements Ability to wear PPE for the duration of shift (masked at all times when in the lab) This role operates in a manufacturing environment, routinely using heavy equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to odors or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, and ear protection may be required. The temperature may be slightly lower than in other areas of the building. Ability to work in a cold room environment while wet Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
