SEWING AND PACKAGING ASSOCIATE

Sewing and Packaging Associate Job Summary The Sewing and Packaging Associate is responsible for assembling, upholstering, inspecting, and packaging finished products for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Sewing/Upholstery Duties:

Sew vinyl panels for seat cushions Assemble and upholster seating components Measure, cut, and attach vinyl to wood panels Install padding and other materials Stretch and secure materials to ensure smooth, wrinkle-free finishes Inspect completed pieces for quality and accuracy

Packaging Duties :

Inspect finished products for defects before packaging Wrap and protect products using appropriate materials (plastic, foam, cardboard, etc.) Stack and organize packaged goods on pallets Ensure products are packaged according to company and shipping standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Skills & Qualifications Previous industrial sewing experience preferred Ability to use staple guns, cutting tools, and other hand tools Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic measuring and math skills Team-oriented with strong work ethic

Experience :

Industrial sewing machine: 1 year (Required)

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
