Crate Builder

Lamar Packaging Systems is looking for someone to assist in our facility building wood shipping crates and assisting with other packaging builds An ideal candidate will have carpentry experience or other experience working with wood products. Candidates may also be asked to help with the assembly line building other packaging if crate orders are slower. We are looking to hire a candidate in the next week and then start immediately.

Duties:

Assist with building crates using nail guns and screws Cut wood using chop saw or Tiger Stop saw Assist with other packaging builds as need arises Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment for material handling

Experience:

• Previous experience using nail gun and working with wood
• Knowledge of basic mechanical principles
