Plant Support - 1st shift

Shift:

Monday- Friday 5:45AM-2PM This position requires someone to be able to stand for extended periods of time and routinely package product for shipment for customers. This would include taking finished products off the production line and stacking products for shipment. This position would require lifting and handling of materials in excess of fifty pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Move required stock throughout the plant as needed to maintain production. Install covers- Bottoms, tops, or shells onto steel pails Participates in setting up the pail line as required Orient ear placement on pail shells while on production line Construct all cardboard trays or boxes for pail and/or cover packaging Responsible for correct labeling and accurate counts of material.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Strong communications skills Ability to work well as a team General Warehousing experience preferred Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment Cleveland Steel Container was founded in 1963 to provide customers with a dependable steel pail. Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers. At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
