Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and contribute to timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, manage inventory using warehouse management systems, and develop your skills in logistics and distribution. Duties Carefully pack products using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all items meet quality control standards Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update order statuses, and ensure accurate stock records Pick orders accurately using order picker tools and mechanical knowledge to fulfill customer requests swiftly Prepare shipments by labeling packages correctly, securing pallets, and coordinating with shipping & receiving teams for timely dispatch Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organizing materials in designated areas within the warehouse Maintain a clean, safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred; familiarity with warehouse experience is a plus Proficiency in using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and order picking tools such as pickers Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks throughout the shift Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, packaging techniques, and quality control standards Mechanical aptitude or understanding of warehouse machinery is advantageous Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain accuracy in order fulfillment Join us as a vital part of our logistics team!
