Job Title:
Cleanroom Technician - Weekend Shift Job Description This temporary Cleanroom Technician position focuses on hand-assembling and packaging small components for dispenser-based packaging solutions in a clean, climate-controlled environment. You will work a weekend shift for a defined assignment lasting approximately 4-6 weeks, performing light-duty tasks that require good hand dexterity and attention to detail. Responsibilities Hand assemble dispenser components for various packaging solutions using a simple two-step assembly process. Package small-sized packaging components and place them neatly and securely into boxes according to instructions. Complete assigned packaging tasks accurately and efficiently within the required timeframes. Follow all cleanroom protocols, including the use of standard personal protective equipment and adherence to cleanliness standards. Handle light-duty materials, ensuring careful and precise work without heavy lifting. Assist with basic production and general labor tasks as needed to support overall workflow. Contribute to maintaining an organized work area with minimal unnecessary movement to support cleanroom standards. Support inventory-related activities, such as counting or organizing components, as directed. Collaborate with team members and, where applicable, support crew leads in meeting production goals. Operate basic material handling tools such as pallet jacks, if required and trained. Essential Skills Willingness to perform repetitive hand assembly tasks for the duration of the shift. Ability to complete packaging assignments accurately and consistently. Good hand dexterity to handle small parts and perform fine manual tasks. Willingness to work 8-hour shifts on a weekend schedule. Capability to perform general labor and production-related tasks in a light-duty environment. Comfort working in a cleanroom setting while wearing standard personal protective equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is a plus. Prior experience in assembly work, particularly in a lead assembly role, is beneficial. Experience leading a team or crew in a production or warehouse environment is advantageous. Familiarity with basic inventory practices and working with pallet jacks is helpful. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a cleanroom environment within a climate-controlled facility, providing a stable and comfortable temperature throughout the shift. Work involves minimal moving around, with most tasks performed at a designated station to support cleanroom standards. Standard personal protective equipment is required and provided, which may include items such as gloves, hairnets, gowns, or other protective garments appropriate for a cleanroom. The position is truly temporary, expected to last approximately 4-6 weeks. Weekend shifts are available on a 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. schedule for first shift and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for third shift, with multiple openings on each. Tasks are light-duty with no heavy lifting, focusing on small component assembly and packaging using basic production tools and, where needed, pallet jacks for material handling. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Upper Sandusky, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
