Job Description
TitlePackaging SupportDescription Summary The Packaging Support team member is responsible for efficiently packaging product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role counts, labels, assembles, bags, and boxes a variety of items into final product packaging, performs basic visual inspections, and reports any product or equipment issues or quantity/quality discrepancies to supervisors. The Packaging Support team member also helps keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and works collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment. This role must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Duties and Responsibilities Packaging product inventory in an efficient and effective manner Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees Perform basic visual quality inspections on products Maintain high-quality standards during shifts including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. The temperature may fluctuate between hot and cold.
Job duties may necessitate the use of hairnets, gloves, and or non-slip shoes.

The employee must frequently bend, lift, and reach; occasionally moving equipment and products weighing up to 50 pounds and frequently moving products, boxes and ingredients less than 25 pounds.
