Bend, Oregon Position Overview PrideStaff is seeking a motivated and physically capable Industrial Door Boxer for a local manufacturing company specializing in industrial doors. In this role, you will work at the final stage of the production line, ensuring completed products of various shapes and sizes are securely and accurately packaged for transit. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the physical stamina to keep up with steady production demands. Key Responsibilities Securely package industrial doors and associated hardware according to company quality and safety standards. Select appropriate boxing and protective materials based on product specifications to ensure items are stabilized and protected against damage during transit. Utilize industrial tools, such as banding ratchets and strapping equipment, to safely seal and reinforce heavy freight. Apply accurate shipping labels and documentation to completed packages, and assist with loading finalized products onto carrier trucks. Maintain a steady production pace to meet daily shipping schedules and department cycle goals. Physical Requirements & Working Environment This is a highly physical production role. Candidates must comfortably meet the following daily demands: Ability to stand and walk constantly (6 to 8+ hours per day) on the production floor. Frequently lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifting heavier components or packages weighing 26-50 lbs and over 75 lbs. Constant, repetitive use of both hands for simple/power grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing or pulling. Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching (both above and below shoulder level) to maneuver large product panels. Qualifications Strong attention to detail to ensure product components and shipping labels match order requirements. Ability to safely operate basic warehouse hand tools (e.g., tape dispensers, strapping tools, and ratchets). Dependable attendance and punctuality. Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
