Job Description
Position Summary The Production Finisher is responsible to assemble products and ensure the product is properly prepared for shipment. This person in this position works closely with the Shipping Supervisor. This position has no supervisory responsibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort products into their respective orders using tag tracking system Count products and compare to order totals Inspect products for quality defects and anomalies Assemble products by attaching finishing items including Pin Backs, Snap rings, Magnets, Twine Loops, Carabiners, and more Bag, package, or box products for shipment Work closely with the Shipping Supervisor to ensure the package is prepared properly for shipment…. Think creatively and critically while building products and working with team members Use our internal system to track & update production tasks / schedules Maintain quality control measures and processes to ensure all outgoing product meets company standards for quality Manage existing workflow and interact with production team regarding any changes or updates Responsible for identifying process / procedure / design improvement for products Able to seek clarity and understanding from managers when you are not 100% certain of something Other duties, as assigned, in other parts of the process as the business grows Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Motivated individual that can handle variable workloads The ability to complete repetitive tasks The ability to self-start and self-motivate when there is no one available to provide instruction Strong wood fabrication skills preferred Ability to use Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills Highly organized and detail oriented Professional verbal communication skills, both on the phone and in person Strong writing and grammatical skills Must be dependable, flexible, and able to manage diverse responsibilities each day
