Finished Goods Handler Hanover, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22527442 Summary Hanover, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 36.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Our client in Hanover, a leading snack manufacturer, is looking for experienced forklift operators to join their team as Finished Goods Handlers.
Finished Goods Handler/Forklift Shift:
Monday - Thursday 6pm - 6am
Pay:
$20.55/hr
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary transporter, loader and unloader of bulk and finished product Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move materials between production and warehouse locations Assist with shrink wrapping responsibilities for all finished goods Review production schedules to anticipate product changes and staging requirements Use printers to apply appropriate codes and pricing to bags, labels, and cases; verify accuracy before release Routinely inspect finished bags for correct weight, code data, price, and overall package integrity Compete manufacturing paperwork and data entry accurately and efficiently Operate, communicate, and demonstrate proficiency in Redzone for tracking performance and reporting issues Develop working knowledge and skills within D365 for production tracking, inventory, and pallet management Maintain a safe and organized work environment Follow all safety rules and operate equipment safely at all times Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and company policies Cross-train in additional finished goods responsibilities to support operational flexibility Work proactively withing a cross-functional team including Production, Warehouse, QA, Maintenance, and Leadership Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Must be forklift certified of have the ability to become forklift certified Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout extended shifts (up to 12 hours if applicable). Basic computer skills and ability to perform accurate data entry Ability to learn and operate Redzone and D365 systems effectively Strong attention to detail in verifying weights, codes, labels, and pallet configurations Strong communication skills and ability to report production or safety concerns promptly Ability to work independently while remaining engaged within a cross-functional team Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with fluctuating temperatures and moving equipment Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
