Job Description
Picking and Packing Associate The Picking and Packing Associate is responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Key responsibilities include picking and packing inventory according to order specifications, maintaining accurate stock levels, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and performing other duties as needed to support daily operations. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position , with 8-hour shifts beginning as early as 8:00 AM . Overtime may be required on occasion. The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable to varying work hours , able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, and has strong attention to detail . The ability to consistently follow procedures and maintain Dempsey's quality and compliance standards is essential. Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently pick and pack inventory to fulfill customer orders. Assist with inventory organization and control to maintain accurate stock levels. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris , properly disposing of waste and trash. Perform all duties safely and responsibly , following OSHA standards, company policies, and established procedures. Promptly report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or practices to management. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and overall operations. Qualifications Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements , including a background check and drug screening. Must be 18 years of age or older . Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds as required. Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and performance in a work or school setting. Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance.
