  Cleanroom Technician (Sterile Machine Operator)
• Job Description
• This role focuses on operating sterile production machinery in a cleanroom environment while ensuring products meet strict quality and packaging standards.

You will work on either first shift (6:00 a.m.-2:20 p.m., Monday-Friday) or third shift (10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m., Sunday-Thursday) and support the sterile department by monitoring product quality, following cGMP guidelines, and performing customer-specific packing procedures. The assignment is planned for 3-4 months with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

• Responsibilities
• + Monitor product quality throughout production, clearly communicate any issues, accurately document findings, and respond promptly to problems.

+ Follow established quality reaction procedures to address and resolve product or process deviations. + Routinely select unbiased FQA and customer samples as directed by the shift lead to support quality assurance and customer requirements. + Perform customer-specific packing procedures, ensuring products are packed according to defined instructions and meet customer-accepted quality criteria. + Operate production machinery safely and efficiently in a sterile cleanroom environment. + Assist in preparing machines and the surrounding machine area for job changes, including setup, adjustments, and basic changeover activities. + Use non-productive time efficiently to support department needs, including reinspecting product, preparing packaging materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting in other departments as needed. + Demonstrate a basic understanding of AIS functions, including sample collection, clearing jams, and related tasks. + Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) at all times to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance. + Perform other related duties as assigned to support production, quality, and departmental goals.

• Essential Skills
• + High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Previous work experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment (preferred). + Effective written communication skills for documenting quality checks and production activities. + Effective oral communication skills for coordinating with shift leads and team members. + Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a cleanroom production team. + Experience with packing or production operations (preferred). + Ability to operate production machinery in a controlled environment. + Ability to follow cGMP and strict procedural guidelines. + Attention to detail for inspection, sample selection, and quality documentation. + Ability to work assigned first or third shift schedule consistently.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Prior cleanroom experience is beneficial, particularly in sterile or pharmaceutical-related operations.

+ Experience in inspection, production packing, or similar roles is advantageous. + Comfort working with AIS systems, including sample collection and clearing equipment jams. + Ability to adapt to changing production needs and assist in other departments when required. + Strong organizational skills to manage packaging materials and maintain orderly work areas.

• Work Environment
• This position is based in a controlled cleanroom environment dedicated to sterile production and packaging.

You will work on either first shift (6:00 a.m.-2:20 p.m., Monday-Friday) or third shift (10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m., Sunday-Thursday) alongside approximately 30 other vial room packers. Cleanroom attire is required at all times while on duty, including hair nets, beard nets when applicable, lab coats, and booties. The environment is structured, process-driven, and focused on maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards, with production machinery and packaging equipment used regularly throughout each shift.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, PA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
