$15.25/hour Job Description As a Pick and Pack Worker (Flat Sorter) at Pitney Bowes, you will be responsible for handling and sorting mail pieces referred to as "flats" (typically 9×12 envelopes). Most sorting is done by machine, but the position requires a considerable amount of manual sorting as well. Accuracy and speed are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort mail pieces (flats) by hand and with the assistance of machines. Pick, pack, and prepare mail for shipment as directed. Maintain pace and accuracy in a fast-moving environment. Follow all safety and operational directions communicated in English. Adhere to quality standards and production goals. Perform lifting, bending, and repetitive motion as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work quickly and accurately. Basic understanding of English to follow safety and operational instructions.
