Job Description

TITLE:
Packer
C POSITION OBJECTIVE
Efficiently and accurately pack product, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
QUALIFICATIONS
A High School Diploma or equivalent Legal eligibility to work in the US. Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel Proficiency in reading and writing English. Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering production workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department. Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures, encompassing good manufacturing policy, hazard analysis, and critical control points processes. Read docket daily and all order changes to ensure the proper product is being packed. Label for the current job as well as upcoming job changes to ensuring accuracy. Inspect final product using quality checks, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues. Complete proper quality bag checks every fifteen minutes Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
