Job Overview Penn Transport & Warehouse Corporation is looking for a reliable Packaging Assistant to help prepare products, materials, and freight for storage, shipment, and delivery. This hands-on position is a good fit for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in an active warehouse environment. No previous packaging or warehouse experience is required. Training will be provided so you can learn the company's procedures, equipment, and daily workflow. Responsibilities Prepare products and materials for packing and shipment Select boxes, containers, wrapping, and other packaging materials Pack items securely according to handling requirements Check products for visible damage before packaging Count items and verify order quantities Apply labels and shipment identification accurately Sort finished packages and place them in designated areas Assist with moving packaged goods to shipping or storage locations Help receive, unpack, and organize incoming materials Keep packaging supplies stocked and organized Report damaged items, shortages, or other discrepancies Maintain a clean and orderly packaging station Assist warehouse team members with loading and staging activities Follow proper material-handling and safety procedures Perform other packaging and warehouse support duties as needed Qualifications No previous experience required; training is provided High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work independently and with a team Willingness to learn new procedures Basic organizational skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday Ability to safely handle packages and warehouse materials If you are dependable, hands-on, and ready to learn, we encourage you to apply for the Packaging Assistant position at Penn Transport & Warehouse Corporation.
