Job Description
Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. Measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to product specifications Inspect completed or defective products or materials by placing them on testing equipment. Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools and labels. Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications Mark items with details such as acceptance-rejection status. Notify supervisors or QC personnel of production problems. Monitor and tend to machines that automatically sort or inspect products. Remove defects, such as chips, burrs, or lap corroded or pitted surfaces. Pack or package by hand a wide variety of parts. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Perform production duties when needed by tending to the back of the ovens.
