Production and Assembly Worker Job Description Join a dynamic team involved in the production and assembly of high-end outdoor plastic furniture. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the creation of durable products that mimic the natural beauty of high-quality materials. Responsibilities Pick and pack pieces of plastic furniture from machines, inspecting for color defects and ensuring high quality standards. Palletize and fill totes with products after inspection. Basic assembly of plastic furniture parts such as seats and chair backs. Ensure furniture board lengths are consistent when packing. Inspect colors, and pack nuts, bolts, and directions. Tape and pack products securely. Essential Skills Experience in general production or manufacturing environments. Experience as a picker, packer, or machine operator in fast-paced settings. Strong attendance record. Basic math skills. Ability to inspect different colors for quality defects. Physical ability to push, pull, and lift weights up to 50 lbs, predominantly 10-30 lbs. Capability to climb steps and step stools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic assembly skills are a plus. Attention to detail and inspection skills. Production and assembly knowledge including quality inspection requirements. Must have a GED or high school diploma for permanent employment. Why Work Here? Dress code requires long pants, and prohibits shorts, capris, tank tops, spaghetti straps, and offensive t-shirts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tamaqua, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
