The A-Packer is a working leader who is responsible for the following responsibilities. Show up 30 minutes before the start of shift to set up their production line. Complete all required paperwork/inspections completely in a timely manner. Understand story boards and packed finished goods in accordance with customer expectations and/or requirements. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive of every job function. All employees shall perform as directed by their supervisor or management team. Integrity Time management skills•develop and adhere to a schedule Does what they say they are going to do Instills trust through actions and behaviors Adaptable Can adjust to a new environment quickly Adapts well to stressful situations and industry fluctuations Able to delegate as needed Work with coworkers in a professional manner Job Related Competencies Complete and understand positions training documents Good Manufacturing Practices shall be followed at all times Lead by example Start shift 30 minutes early to set line(s) up for production prior to shift start Completes all required paperwork/inspections completely in a timely manner Fully understand department Story Boards Fill, seal, date, case and palletize product in accordance with customer requirements Understands and completes proper sku change/end of shift cleaning Champions Food Safety, HACCP and SQF Physical Requirements (Necessary to perform essential functions of job with or without an accommodation) Maneuver through tight spaces Lift 25 lbs. over their head Pull/Maneuver pallet jack with up to 2,000 pound loads Carry items of 50 pounds in weight from one place to another Stack 50 pounds repetitiously Must be able to work with Soy.
