In this role, you will be responsible for accurately packing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong materials handling skills, experience operating warehouse equipment, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Carefully pack and prepare products for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move materials efficiently within the warehouse Assist with order picking and packing using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems Load and unload shipments safely while adhering to safety guidelines and mechanical operation procedures Conduct quality control checks to verify product accuracy and packaging integrity Manage shipping & receiving activities, including inventory updates in warehouse management systems Support stock replenishment, stocking, and order fulfillment tasks to maintain optimal inventory levels Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve distribution processes Ensure compliance with safety standards during heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Skills Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and warehouse distribution Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment if needed Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts Experience in quality control processes within a warehouse setting Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in packaging and order fulfillment tasks Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors Prior warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not mandatory This position is integral to maintaining high standards of warehouse operations.
