EXPERIENCE
Requirements:
high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The Employee has to have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The Employee has to have the ability to write simple correspondence. The Employee has to have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The Employee has to have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The Employee has to have the ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
The Employee has to have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic personal computer skills (PC skills), and knowledge of internal programs are desirable. Not required for this level at this time.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms, and is frequently required to walk. The Employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; bending and talk or hear. The Employee will be moving pallets of finished goods as well as other types of freight on and off transportation vehicles. The Employee may be required to move skids from production lines and set production lines up with ingredients needed. Employee will be working in different environments from hot to cold, during their eight-hour day. Employee is required to wear a coat and gloves during their shift for their protection. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

EMPLOYEE
is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, and for safety reasons hearing protection is mandatory in all areas of the facility except break rooms and offices. Work in -10• freezer for 75% of the day.
KEY DUTIES
1. Move pallets from the production floor to the freezer. 2. Record transactions involving freight as required in an efficient and accurate manner. 3. Efficient, accurate and timely data entry related to the movement of freight. 4. Keep freezer and warehouse (all work areas) clean and orderly. This includes chipping ice in the freezer. 5. Management of quantities and disposition of contents of edible waste and dumpster containers. 6. Back up the position of Material Handler when needed and help fill in on the packing line when needed. 7. Follow all safety rules and procedures. Report all safety concerns to the appropriate personnel. 8. Follow CGMP's as outlined in the Handbook 9. Clean assigned areas. 10. Complete forklift inspection sheet each day, have supervisor sign and turn into lead. 11. Do weekly and monthly inventory. 12. Help with month end procedures. 13. Other duties as assigned by management.
