Boxer/Packaging Associate Shift:
4:30am-3:00pm Mon-Thurs (Occasional Friday Overtime required)Pay:

Ocala, FL (34474) Job Summary A Boxer is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment by inspecting, packing, labeling, and securing items according to company quality and shipping standards. This position supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products are packaged accurately, protected from damage, and ready for transportation to customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Package finished products into cartons, boxes, and other shipping containers according to specifications. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials, finished products, and packaging supplies throughout the facility. Inspect products for defects, damage, and completeness before packaging. Assemble boxes and prepare packing materials as needed. Apply shipping labels, product labels, and documentation accurately. Ensure products are properly wrapped, cushioned, and secured for shipment. Stack, palletize, and organize packaged products for storage or transportation. Maintain production quotas while meeting quality standards. Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing practices. Assist team members with production and warehouse tasks as needed. Report quality concerns, equipment issues, and material shortages to supervisors. Qualifications Prior forklift operating experience required or preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production environments preferred. Ability to read work instructions and follow established procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Non Climate Controlled Manufacturing Facility Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
